Job Description

A health services organization is seeking a Video Support Technologist to join their team in Bloomfield, CT.


  • Provide tier II steady state support for the video infrastructure, including Cisco TMS, VCS, VBrick, AppSpace
  • Coordinate with users and assist with video conferencing, associated audio, touch panels, and deskside UC technologies
  • Identify root cause incidents and capture key details to provide solutions quickly and efficiently
  • Operate and troubleshoot conference room systems including displays, video switcher, video extenders, microphones, projection systems, audio mixing and distribution systems, A/V device control systems, cameras and videoconferencing systems
  • Provide training in the use of the integrated video conferencing room systems
  • Assist with incidents resolution within the video infrastructure
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues in conference sessions
  • Manage incident resolutions from beginning to end and escalate as needed
  • Provide video teleconferencing, audio Point-to-Point and Multi-Point conference session support



  • Knowledge of video conferencing systems including Cisco and Polycom video endpoints
  • Experience supporting audio video integrated room systems, including Crestron, Biamp
  • Troubleshoot mixed platform AV systems in person and remote
  • Experience with Cisco TMS, VCS, VBrick, AppSpace
  • White glove customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Engage external vendors when necessary to initiate escalations
  • Engage customers requesting video support
  • Able to prioritize, manage, and perform under pressure to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Experience with both PC and Mac platforms as well as industry standard software


  • Enterprise collaboration with audio/visual experience
  • CCNP Collaboration or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Cisco CUCM
