Job Description

A health services organization is seeking a Senior Unified Security Support Engineer to join their team in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

• Providing tier II/tier III support for network security systems and infrastructure.
• Ensuring leadership during firewall, VPN, and other security related problem determination efforts.
• Supporting F5 load balancing technologies.
• Implementing firewall solutions and providing consultation on projects requiring security operational support.
• Panning and overseeing firewall and VPN changes.
• Improving services in accordance with business needs, priorities and SLAs.
• Driving process improvements and procedures that will improve overall Security Service Delivery to the customer.
• Ensuring uniform security service delivery and attainment of all business and customer objectives.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in firewall, VPN, WAF, IPS\DDoS management and load balancing technologies.
• One of the following: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or JNCIA (Juniper Networks Certified Internetworking Associate) certification.
• A strong understanding of the following firewalls: Cisco, PaloAlto, Fortigate, Juniper.
• The ability to configure and support client-to-site VPN tunnels.
• Experienced with Cisco AnyConnect client support.
• Familiar with security protocols and implementations including NAT and ACLs
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple network tools, such as, SyslogNG, SevOne, Splunk, tcpdump and wireshark, for network troubleshooting
