Our client is currently seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to join their team in Marlborough, MA.


  • Lead the project, ensuring objectives and deliverables are achieved in a timely manner
  • Define a repeatable framework in which information source can connect to IAG Portal
  • Define priority approach to Application/Databases and Entitlement repositories to onboard to IAG Portal
  • Understand the tech stack the onboarding scope sits on
  • Understand the access concepts for the proposed Application/Databases and Entitlement repositories to ensure the connector that is developed meets expectations
  • Collaborate with Application Team to establish best practice onboarding and script development to ensure all access and entitlements are captured making recommendations on whether a simple Account Discovery Collector is sufficient or whether a full Entitlement Discovery Collector is necessary
  • Ensure the IAG Onboarding work is prioritized both with the Business and Technical Teams
  • Ensure alerting is implemented for all connectors where failure occurs and implement appropriate business processes and technical solutions to ensure changes do not fail to implement
  • Ensure connector data is available to Role Builders, Role Owners, Recertification Team and Stakeholders
  • Where a connector cannot be implemented, document provisioning path for Access, establish manual data feed and schedule from application owner
  • Support IAG Technical team in investigating how to identify users who have direct access to Oracle databases and the level access levels they have to support defining an approach of how IAG can manage Database access going forward


  • Strong oracle Database Management and SQL skills
  • Able to configure and manage a DR environment hosted in AWS using Data Guard
  • AWS skills such as EC2, S3, Lambda creation and Cloud formation deployment
  • Able to contribute and collaborate with the IAG managers in establishing role requirements and integration patterns
  • Python 2.x/3.x programming experience
  • Experience with Identity Access and Governance processes and procedures including ABAC/RBAC
  • Able to develop REST Based APIs and debug using standard tools
  • Able to work in a global team across different regions and time zones and comfortable with Matrix Management
  • Able to contribute and collaborate with the IAG managers in establishing role requirements and integration patterns
  • Able to work closely with IAG stakeholders and architects for project and program delivery milestones
  • Strong listening skills and advanced team dynamic problem solving, root cause analysis, and resolution
  • Experience working efficiently and effectively in IAG teams in a highly demanding environment
  • Proven performance in critical thinking and usage of innovative thinking for enhancing team capabilities and providing solutions for new challenges, issues, and requirements – must be comfortable to challenge the status quo with stakeholders and IT teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
