Job Description

A mortgage loan company is seeking a Recruiter to join their team in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and meet hiring needs
  • Work with hiring leaders to create job descriptions and work with the compensation team to ensure jobs are placed in the appropriate salary grade
  • Source applicants using a variety of methods (i.e. ads, referrals, networking, third party agencies, etc.) and review resumes to determine a strong candidate pool based on pre-established minimum job requirements
  • Conduct interviews to access a candidate’s suitability for available opportunities both internally and externally
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast on current and future hiring needs
  • Review candidate’s references, background check, work history, education verification and drug screen results for any discrepancies with the employment application
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the application process and, if applicable, extend offers to suitable candidates for employment
  • Update and maintain the applicant tracking system as applicants move through the recruitment process while following Applicant Management Process
  • Work with hiring/interviewing managers to ensure interview techniques and hiring practices are consistent with company policies
  • Support diversity initiatives within the company and should actively research opportunities to enhance the community and college recruiting programs by partnering with various colleges and civic organizations
  • Attend job fairs or college events to source candidates and promote PHH Mortgage as an employer or choice
  • Participate in multiple projects and should work to support the overall department goals as established by the HR Leadership Team
  • Maintain daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as requested
