Our client is currently seeking a Global Payroll Administrator to join their team in Piscataway, NJ.


  • Prepare with extreme confidentiality, high detail and precise accuracy, both Domestic US and monthly international payroll for all non-US locations
  • Ensure that all employees are paid in accordance with the payroll policies/procedures and corresponding government regulations
  • Ensure non-US employees’ taxes are processed and filed according to the countries’ tax policies
  • Prepare service vendor payments for both international and domestic invoices
  • Ensure that payments, tax withholding and deductions are processed with extreme accuracy, i.e. record and process wage/salary payments such as retro payments, bonuses, commissions, severance, vacation payouts, employee referrals and night differential; must adhere to state regulations and procedures when processing wage garnishments
  • Reconcile and enter employee voluntary deductions in the payroll system; and process invoices for payments
  • Update and maintain employee records in the payroll systems
  • Provide functional and technical expertise on the payroll systems (e.g. ADP Streamline, ADP Workforce Now, Electronic Time & Attendance (Enterprise eTime), ADP Employee Self Service)
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to payroll inquiries are completed in a courteous and professional manner
  • Generate monthly Boston Invoice for reimbursement of employees’ bi-weekly earnings and benefits
  • Prepare documents for appropriate agencies requesting wage and/or verification of pay data, i.e. mortgage/employment verifications, unemployment and workers compensation
  • Process Group Term Life tax premiums for part time hourly employees by calculating and entering payroll memo code information on a quarterly basis
  • Calculate and process quarterly contribution for Washington State Dept of Labor as needed


  • At least a High School Diploma; Associate’s degree preferred, Payroll Certification and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4+ years relevant experience with general knowledge of payroll practices and regulations
  • Strong accounting and math skills
  • Moderate critical thinking and problem solving
  • Maintain extreme confidentiality with all aspects of the job as well as exercise extreme discretion
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Able to follow through with any outstanding issues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer-based knowledge of preparing spreadsheets, and other MSOffice products
  • A strong customer service work ethic
  • Able to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with employees from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds
  • Commitment to maintain all files and payroll reports in accordance with each country’s regulations and preserve them in an audit ready condition
  • Experience with Payroll service bureaus, processing 401K & DCRP(Pension) contributions according to IRS regulations, using time reporting systems is beneficial
  • Able to successfully complete the Global Payroll Management certification with APA association & ADP’s Certified Payroll Professional training & exams
  • Must be a technologically savvy worker who seeks out technological solutions to business challenges
  • Specific technology knowledge and experience needed to produce the desired outcomes include the following: ADP Streamline, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Employee Self Service, ADP eTime and Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledgeable of products that are web based that aid in achieving desired outcomes
