Our client is seeking a Director of Business Systems and IT to join their team in Shrewsbury, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for business systems and IT-related technologies and processes in the organization
  • Manage a department of IT professionals, business partners and vendors responsible for all systems and applications - this includes, but is not limited to, help desk support, applications, business system processes and innovation, systems analysis, software development, all devices, systems administration, and education at scale
  • Analysis and Implementation of new technologies and processes including, but not limited to, mobile and web applications, integrations, Learning Management Systems (LMS), CRM, custom software development and ERP/Financial systems
  • System automation for departments including Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Admissions, Operations, and Student Support
  • Lead IT and Business Systems Strategy company-wide, including the development and cultivation of both the business and technical teams with the establishment of project/department deadlines
  • Ensure successful completion of key initiatives on time and on budget; anticipate issues and proactively act to address them; manage cross-functional interdependencies
  • Gather and update project materials, complete budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, implement and manage technical business flows
  • Facilitate and cultivate strong cross-organization communication including setting up recurring status meetings with the business, fielding questions from the business and handling issues that arise
  • Provide risk management including identifying/prioritizing potential risks throughout all systems and active project lifecycles in order to develop appropriate contingency plans and problem resolution, as required
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, and general advice to the organization as requested regarding operational processes and workflows to improve processes to optimize performance and value over time; work with functional business units to understand their businesses and organizational structures
  • Management of full ERP (NetSuite) solution instance; this includes all financial and accounting business flows, Student/Customer Records, all custom record types, subsidiary management, reporting and key performance indicators (KPI’s), transactions and purchasing, script and script deployments, refactoring, regression testing for biannual version updates and deprecations, system imports and exports of data, integrations and API management for LMS and CRM system databases
  • Oversite and management of all CRM solutions which includes both Infusionsoft and HubSpot CRM; this includes systems analysis for updates effecting multiple departments on the platform, custom workflows for internal business flows, full working knowledge for oversite of full system enterprise offerings including Sales, Marketing and Service for Hubspot and Student workflows, integrations and transactions for the Infusionsoft Platform
  • Cloud systems architecture management with knowledge of both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure; Work with DevOps team and business partners to facilitate system cohesion and integration for seamless experiences for both employees and customers as well as any builds and updates to the company’s custom applications
  • Understanding of modern web architecture and DNS architecture for cloud solutions listed above along with cPanel for Linux based server solutions
  • Full G Suite for business knowledge including Users, Groups, Apps (emphasis on Gmail, Calendar and Drive, Backups, Security and Device management
  • Communications management of VoIP based Phone system, as well as meeting and webinar and conference room; Phone system includes managed integration to the Hubspot platform with customizations to integrate with workflows, reporting and SMS capabilities
  • Management of Project Management solution software company-wide
  • Full oversite and management for system relating to the LMS system; this includes automation of content and commutations to students, curriculum updates and refreshes, updates and improvements, content protection, security
  • Oversite of device management for a predominantly remote workforce; Ability to manage a team to facilitate remote troubleshooting
  • Integrations management in including managed API’s and Webhooks, System syncs for customer and transactional data for system accuracy and triggered automations
  • Working knowledge of Privacy and Security compliance and certifications (GDPR, Privacy Shield, PCI, SOC 2, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 offerings to oversee local MS Office applications
  • Oversee IT business partner who manages devices and overall network health
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure successful completion on time and on budget; anticipate issues and proactively act to address them; manage cross-functional interdependencies
  • Gather and update project materials, complete budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, implement and manage technical business flows, and lessons learned documents
  • Provide support to executive leaders, department heads, and end-users in geographically dispersed offices to effectively and efficiently utilize current technologies

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree; CPC Certification preferred
  • 5 - 10 years relevant work experience as a director or related position
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience managing IT and system related projects from start to finish
  • Experience with SaaS systems, cloud applications, and digital integration
  • Able to drive innovation from a technical perspective
  • Knowledge of privacy and security compliance and certifications with an emphasis on GDPR
  • Experience building a technical department to grow and scale
  • Full project life cycle management experience
  • Experience managing an IT, Business Systems or DevOps team
  • Experience working in and managing business process frameworks which can include Agile/Scrum methodologies, ITIL, etc.
  • Full understand of ERP solutions (NetSuite preferred) including customizations and workflows; Working knowledge of SuiteCloud with an emphasis on SuiteScript is perferred
  • Understanding and experience with Full Stack development for web and mobile technologies on a modern cloud solution (Azure or AWS preferred)
  • Understanding of all modern RDBMS with functioning expertise in at least one type
  • G Suite or Microsoft 365 Administrator experience
  • CRM Implementation and management experience
  • Knowledge of VoIP providers such as Twilio and how to work with them
  • Experience with modern testing practices and procedures to ensure professional product deployment
  • Experience centralizing customer information and overall data transformation
  • SLA and SOP Management experience
  • Experience with SSO or other technologies for centralized agent system access and control
  • API, webhook and iPaaS management experience
  • Able to execute on multiple projects simultaneously
