A law firm is currently seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join their team in White Plains, NY.


  • Assist in video and web conferencing set-ups
  • Assist with IT setups in conference rooms/Wi-Fi
  • Provide escalation status notification on service impacting events
  • Track and update events in the trouble ticketing system in a clear and efficient manner (Previous use of Ivanti HEAT a plus)
  • Install and support printers locally and networked in all regional offices
  • Computer installations, exchanges and troubleshooting
  • Assist in mobile device e-mail setup via the MobileIron MDM Platform and use of the MobileIron Mobile Application
  • Video and web conferencing set-up, working with LifeSize and Cisco Codecs
  • Projector set-up and organization for presentations in conference rooms
  • Cisco IP Phone installation and replacements
  • Work on level 2 and 3 escalations from the Support Desk and other departments
  • Oversee loaner laptops, ensures correct software is installed and logs laptops in and out



  • College degree preferred, or comparable experience
  • 4 years of experience providing support to users and IT operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Able to demonstrate out-of-the-box problem solving skills
  • Understand end-user needs and expectations
  • Able to relay to non-technical users in user-friendly language
  • Able to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities to meet all deadlines
  • Able to work well with others and build a strong sense of team spirit
  • Able to work in a multi-office environment infrequently
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision in an organized, disciplined and consistent manner

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware components of desktop and laptop PCs and Microsoft Office; knowledge of other legal-specific applications
  • Knowledge and ability to remove virus/malware
  • Understanding of networking (LAN, WAN), and active directory
  • Able to work with vendors on site
  • Mobile device experience and support for iOS, Android and Blackberry Devices
  • Able to reimage PC and Laptops as needed via PXE boot imaging process


  • Experience with the Cisco Jabber messaging platform
  • Experience with troubleshooting desktops in an enterprise WAN environment
  • Additional training/certifications (MCSE, SCCM) in relevant area of study
  • Previous law firm or professional services firm experience
